Privacy Policy

Tapeloop

Effective 30 October 2026

In short: Tapeloop does not collect, receive or share any personal data. Your music, playlists and settings stay on your iPhone. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and the app has no servers to send anything to.

Who I am

Tapeloop is made by Georgios Zacharidis (GZVS), Thessaloniki, Greece. For any privacy question, write to gzvsDev@icloud.com.

Your music

Lock screen, AirPods and AirPlay

To show what's playing on the lock screen and in Control Center, Tapeloop passes the current song's title, artist, album and cover to iOS. When you choose an AirPlay speaker or Bluetooth device, the music is sent to that device. Both are standard iOS features and nothing is sent to me.

Permissions

Tapeloop doesn't ask for access to your microphone, camera, photos, contacts or location, and never uses them.

Ratings and links

Tapeloop is free and has no in-app purchases. If you choose to rate it, Apple shows its own rating window and handles your rating. The Support, Privacy, LinkedIn and GitHub links in the app open those websites in Safari, where their own privacy policies apply.

What I don't do

Children

Tapeloop is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Your rights and deleting your data

Because I hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for me to access, correct or delete. You control everything: delete a song in the app, or remove files in the Files app, and they are gone from your iPhone. Deleting the Tapeloop app removes your songs, playlists and settings from your iPhone. If you have a question or a request under the GDPR or any other privacy law, email gzvsDev@icloud.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
